Goran Darmanović
I am a law graduate with extensive experience across both public administration and the private sector. Married and a proud father of three – two daughters and a son – which gives me additional motivation and strength in my daily professional endeavors. I began my career at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where I spent the first six years. This experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of legal procedures, institutional functioning, and the responsibilities that come with working in public administration.
After transitioning to the private sector, I joined the Čelebić Group, where I have held a series of senior roles across different companies within the organization. These positions have provided me with broad expertise in corporate governance, legal affairs, and strategic decision-making. Today, I serve as Vice President for Legal and Corporate Affairs, overseeing regulatory compliance, legal processes, and the alignment of business strategies with corporate objectives. At the same time, I hold the position of CEO of one of the Group’s project companies, where I lead operations and drive growth initiatives. This dual role allows me to combine strategic oversight with hands-on executive leadership, ensuring both legal integrity and business success across the Group.
In addition, I am an independent member of the Board of Directors of Generali Montenegro Insurance, owned by Generali Assicurazioni, one of the leading insurance companies in the world. I also hold a license as a tax advisor, which further confirms my expertise in the fields of finance and taxation, as well as my ability to provide high-quality support in complex business processes.
My professional philosophy is based on responsibility, integrity, and continuous improvement. I believe that legal certainty and transparency represent the foundation of successful business operations, and my goal is to contribute to strengthening these values in all organizations in which I am engaged.
