Gajo Vanka, MBA, is a seasoned financial expert, startup enthusiast, and an accomplished author/co-author of numerous scientific and professional publications in business economics and management. With a career spanning 30 years, Mr. Vanka has progressed from financial analyst to CFO, gaining extensive leadership experience across both agile SMEs and large-scale corporations.
Having operated across diverse industries, he possesses a profound understanding of market dynamics within the Western Balkans, Southeast Europe, and Eastern Europe. In recent years, through his engagement with the Serbian Management Association (UMS), he has been a key driver in entrepreneurship development across the region. Mr. Vanka holds an MBA from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Belgrade (EKOF), and an honorary doctorate from the British American University. He is married and the father of a thirteen-year-old daughter.
