Mirlinda Ahmeti is a governance, internal audit, and compliance professional with extensive experience in strengthening institutional integrity and organizational performance across the public and private sectors in Kosovo.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Internal Audit and Controls (IIAC), a professional organization focused on advancing internal audit and good governance. Through her leadership, the Institute has contributed to building sustainable professional capacities and promoting transparency, accountability, and effective control systems.
Mirlinda has a solid track record in the design and implementation of development projects, including initiatives related to municipal integrity, institutional strengthening, and capacity building. She has worked closely with international organizations, government institutions, and private sector stakeholders, bringing a practical and results-oriented approach to governance and compliance challenges.
In parallel, she is actively engaged in delivering professional training and advisory services, supporting organizations in aligning their practices with the national Laws and EU standards and enhancing operational efficiency. Her work often bridges institutional development with private sector needs, particularly in areas related to risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
