Dr. Elida Motro is an Executive Business Coach, academic leader, and HR thought leader and strategist with over 25 years of experience spanning among entrepreneurial leadership, the financial sector and the higher education. She holds a PhD in International Economic Relations and Management (Eisenstadt, Austria, 2024), a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Human Resources from Cornell University (USA, 2011), a joint Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and the University of Tirana (2009), and a BA in English Philology from the University of Tirana.
Elida is the Founder and Director of EMI Coaching and Consulting (EMI-CC, since 2011), where she has worked closely with CEOs, senior executives, and entrepreneurs regionally and globally to strengthen value based leadership capacity, organizational productivity through people, and strategic clarity for the decision makers. Her work focuses on equipping emerging and established leaders with practical tools that increase time efficiency, improve return on investment, and foster sustainable growth. In recognition of her professional impact, she was named among the 50 most successful Albanians worldwide in 2023.
Previously, she served as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Responsibility at Opportunity Albania, part of Opportunity International, leading HR strategy for over 350 employees and contributing to international projects and institutional development. Alongside her executive practice, she lectures at Tirana Business University and is the director of the MBA for Executives taught at the same university, developing curricula and mentoring students at Bachelor and Master levels.
An author and editor, Elida published “Plan with Elida” in English, Albanian, and German, and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Human Resources Magazine (DuaPune.com). She is actively engaged in community leadership, serving on boards and initiatives that advance women’s leadership and social development in Albania and the region.
